Acceptance of these terms
By accessing or using easyE, you agree to these Terms of Use. These terms apply to visitors, registered users, ticket buyers, ticket recipients, organizers, assigned ticket checkers, and administrators who use the platform.
If you do not agree with these terms, you should not use easyE.
Account registration and verification
easyE uses phone number verification to create and access accounts. You agree to provide accurate phone number, profile, and organizer information and to keep your account details up to date.
You are responsible for activity performed through your account, including ticket purchases, comments, reactions, event submissions, checker assignments, and organizer actions.
Visitor and user conduct
You agree not to misuse easyE, interfere with platform operation, upload harmful content, attempt unauthorized access, impersonate another person or organization, abuse SMS or OTP flows, scrape protected data, or use easyE for unlawful activity.
Social activity such as comments and reactions must be respectful, lawful, and relevant to the event experience. easyE may remove content or restrict access where activity is abusive, misleading, fraudulent, or unsafe.
Events and organizer responsibilities
Organizers are responsible for the accuracy of event titles, descriptions, dates, venues, media, ticket prices, ticket availability, refund instructions, contact details, checker assignments, private invite lists, and payout account information.
Organizers must have the right to host, promote, and sell tickets for their events and must comply with venue rules, local laws, safety requirements, age restrictions, tax obligations, and applicable licensing requirements.
Event review, verified badges, and publishing
easyE may require event review before publishing, especially for organizers without a verified badge. easyE may approve, reject, unpublish, or request changes to events at its discretion.
A verified badge is a platform trust signal. It does not guarantee event quality, attendance, safety, or financial outcome, and visitors should still review event details before buying tickets.
Commitment fees
Organizers without verified badges may be required to pay a commitment fee before an event can be submitted for review or published. The amount may be set and updated by system administrators.
Payment of a commitment fee does not guarantee event approval. Approval depends on review of the event, organizer details, payout readiness, and platform requirements.
Tickets, pricing, and platform charges
Organizers may set ticket prices and choose how platform charges are applied where the feature is available. The platform charge may be deducted from the listed price or added on top of the organizer-set amount, depending on the organizer pricing configuration and admin settings.
Ticket sales can be blocked when an event is due or overdue, sold out, restricted, unpublished, rejected, or otherwise unavailable.
Payments and Paystack processing
easyE uses Paystack to process ticket payments, commitment fees, and eligible split payments. Paystack may require an email address for payment, receipts, verification, dispute handling, and fraud checks.
By making payment, you also agree to Paystack payment processing rules and any applicable bank, mobile money, card network, or telecom requirements.
Organizer payouts and subaccounts
For approved events, organizers may provide payout account details to create or link a Paystack subaccount. easyE may require admin review or Paystack verification before payout details become active.
Settlement timing, payout status, reversals, transfer failures, and bank or mobile money processing delays may depend on Paystack and financial institutions. easyE may display settlement updates where Paystack provides the data.
Ticket wallet, QR codes, and check-in
Purchased tickets are made available in the user ticket wallet. Tickets may include QR code URLs used for event check-in. You are responsible for protecting your ticket code and QR link from unauthorized use.
A ticket may be marked as checked in when a valid checker or authorized organizer confirms entry. Check-in may be restricted until the organizer-defined check-in start time.
Ticket transfers
Ticket transfer features allow a ticket owner to send a ticket to another phone number. You must confirm the transfer before completion. Once transferred, access may move to the recipient account according to platform rules.
Recipients without accounts may need to create an account before accessing transferred tickets.
Private events and invitations
Private events are intended for invited users only. Access may be limited based on invited phone numbers, account status, organizer permissions, checker assignments, and administrator access.
You may not share private event links, ticket codes, media, or invite details in a way that bypasses intended access restrictions.
Refunds, cancellations, and event changes
Unless otherwise stated, organizers are responsible for event cancellations, schedule changes, venue changes, attendee communication, and refund decisions.
Payment processor fees, platform charges, timing limitations, and organizer policies may affect refund handling.
SMS and communications
By using easyE, you agree that easyE may send transactional SMS messages related to OTP verification, ticket purchases, commitment fee payments, event review, checker assignments, private invitations, ticket transfers, payout account updates, and other platform operations.
You are responsible for providing a reachable phone number. SMS delivery may fail or be delayed for reasons outside easyE control.
Media and content rights
Organizers who upload images, videos, descriptions, logos, or other event content confirm that they have the rights and permissions needed to use that content on easyE.
You grant easyE permission to display, resize, store, process, and use uploaded content for event listings, detail pages, organizer dashboards, admin review, ticket flows, and promotional surfaces within the platform.
Platform availability and changes
easyE may update, suspend, remove, or change features, routes, fees, approval processes, payment flows, SMS behavior, or dashboard tools as the platform evolves.
The service may occasionally be unavailable because of maintenance, hosting issues, payment provider issues, telecom problems, browser limitations, or third-party service disruptions.
Limitation of responsibility
easyE provides platform tools for event discovery, ticketing, social activity, check-in, organizer management, and payment routing. easyE is not responsible for every aspect of an organizer-run event, including venue conditions, event quality, attendance, safety, performance, or organizer promises.
Nothing in these terms limits liability where it cannot legally be limited.
Suspension and enforcement
easyE may suspend accounts, restrict organizer access, remove events, disable tickets, reject submissions, revoke badges, or block transactions where there is suspected fraud, policy abuse, inaccurate information, unlawful activity, payment risk, or harm to users.
Updates to these terms
easyE may update these Terms of Use from time to time. Continued use of the platform after updates means you accept the revised terms.
