What is easyE?
easyE is an event discovery, ticketing, social activity, and organizer management platform. Visitors can browse public events, view event details, save events, see social activity, buy tickets, and check in with QR codes.
Organizers can create public or private events, upload media, manage ticket types and pricing, assign ticket checkers, review check-ins, and connect approved events to Paystack payout subaccounts.
Do I need an account to use easyE?
You can browse public events without signing in. You need an account to save events, comment, react, buy tickets, receive private invitations, access purchased tickets, transfer tickets, manage your profile, or use organizer tools.
Account sign in uses phone number verification with a one-time SMS code.
How do I buy a ticket?
Open an event detail page, choose an available ticket type, enter the email address required by Paystack, confirm the quantity, and complete payment through the secure Paystack checkout flow.
After successful payment, your ticket is added to your easyE ticket wallet and the system may send SMS confirmation to the buyer and relevant organizer.
Where can I find my purchased tickets?
Signed-in users can open My tickets from the public navigation. Tickets are sorted from newest to oldest and include event details, ticket owner information, ticket status, and a QR code link for check-in.
Can I transfer a ticket to another user?
Yes. From the ticket wallet, you can transfer a ticket by entering the recipient phone number. easyE shows a confirmation prompt before the transfer is finalized.
If the recipient already has an active account, they are notified that they received a ticket. If they do not have an account, easyE sends an SMS inviting them to create one so they can access the ticket.
How does QR code check-in work?
Each ticket has a scannable QR code URL. When scanned, it opens a check-in page showing the event details, ticket owner details, and a confirmation button.
Organizers can set when check-in starts. Assigned checkers cannot confirm tickets before the configured check-in opening time.
What are private events?
Private events are not listed like normal public events. Organizers invite specific phone numbers, and invited users can access those events from their Invited events page after signing in.
Private event tickets and event pages are restricted to invited users, organizers, assigned checkers, and authorized administrators.
Why are some events marked with a verified badge?
A verified organizer badge indicates that easyE has approved the organizer profile or organization details through the platform review process. The badge helps visitors identify organizers that have passed additional trust checks.
Why can ticket sales be unavailable?
Ticket sales may be unavailable when an event date is due or overdue, tickets are sold out, the event is private and you are not invited, or the event is not yet approved for publishing.
How do organizer event approvals work?
Organizers without a verified badge may need to pay a commitment fee and submit the event for admin review before publishing. Admins can approve, reject, or request updates based on event details, media, organizer profile, payout readiness, and platform rules.
Rejected events can be updated and resubmitted for review.
How do organizer payouts work?
For eligible approved events, organizers can provide payout account details that are used to create or link Paystack subaccounts. Ticket payments can then be split according to platform fee settings and organizer payout configuration.
The Manage event page can show settlement or payout updates from Paystack where available.
How does easyE use SMS?
easyE sends SMS messages for OTP sign in, ticket payment confirmations, commitment fee confirmations, event review updates, checker assignments, private invitations, ticket transfers, payout-account updates, and organizer/admin notifications.
SMS delivery depends on the telecom network, correct phone numbers, and the configured SMS provider.
Who do I contact for help?
Use the contact information provided by the organizer for event-specific questions such as venue access, schedule changes, or refunds. For account, payment, ticket wallet, or platform access issues, contact easyE support through the channels published on the website.
